In Israel there are numerous institutes that offer medical services for vision correction. Most institutes are supposed first of all to schedule you for a suitability examination (which should be free up to a certain age) to check that you are indeed suitable in every respect to undergo vision-correction surgery and to tailor for you the most appropriate surgery that suits your eye and your life (profession, hobbies, ocular condition, physical condition, etc.).
